I have taken the middle ground, I have delegated to some projects that give a return @smartsteem is the only bidding service though.
but I do not always use all my voting power every day so that rest I automatically sell to @smartmarket (part of @smartsteem) and this also gives a little ROI which should be a nice addon for you without having to sell to bidbots.
I am of the same principle then you. I have been here a year now (https://steemit.com/steem/@felander/one-year-on-steem-alive-and-kicking) and I just keep powering up. 10 dollar steem would give me a nice extra but is not life changing money yet. I hope to accumulate a bit more before the market explodes. I have a bit on an exchange and will get some more there as well but do not want to bet just on one horse.
I have to spread the risk with different coins, so even though I am a crypto fan I am not yet a "steem maximalist", lol

An interesting analysis @exyle and eye opening as usual as to the differences between being in at the early days and coming in later. Also, useful to help understand the value of using bidbots.

For now I'll keep on blogging, but I'm not sure it's the best investment strategy given the figures you are quoting here. 😊

Hi @exyle!
Great goal... I also checked bid bots, but after studying the whole thing, my best strategy is curation.
If you check Steemworld you can see I'm earning 12SP a week with only 3150SP.
I think you can try to maximice also the Curation part.

Not only are you Steemit's first (and maybe only) mannequin but you are by far the smartest!

Hahaha, thanks OldDog!
I don't have big numbers, and my upvotes are not much worth, so I try to do my best ;-)

You really are all-in for steem.
I only wish I had that much cash so I could have options o pick from, I only get Steem power from post rewards.

Good going buddy ... my vote for your effort ... we are proud of you :)

Kool ... I am also thinking about delegating the power after powering up my account. By the way, do you think that working myself on daily basis on steemit i.e. author and curation is going to be the fastest way to achieve one's target?

That's how I done it + buying.

That's how I am going to achieve it now ;)

thats a good goal tbh. Everyone has their own limit or GOAL i guess and for me if I get around 25k SP Id be chilling and being more able to provide for the community of steemit

As a minnow with a day job, its hard to find the time to create good daily content. I would prefer being a more passive investor of the steem blockchain by supporting new and old projects with my upvotes and leasing out my SP to make some SBD and STEEM which I can then reinvest.

Calculations can change completely if SBD price changes

Mark @exyle you have the Right Formula and the Followers just keep Doing what you are Doing.....................

At 17%-18% ROI on Steempower a year it's not a bad investment at all.

Not at all, especially when compared to earnings from your savings you keep in the bank. However, most people prefer to keep money in the bank and not to earn anything instead of having great returns by investing in Steem. Eventually, it will change once the confidence in crypto rises and people stop thinking “it’s all going back to zero” or “it’s all just a ponzi”.

I'm glad to have you doing a lot of my thinking for me!

Followers and notoriety are going to matter when we're adding 100,000 users a day.
Ask any big youtuber if they'd rather lose their balance or their audience, and 90% would lose their balance. The options are only 7% different if you don't factor in the benefits of being a popular steemster when we moon..

Well depends....Youtubers balance is in US dollars that will not increase in value. They will not want to part with the revenue stream. They need it unless they have millions. STEEM can increase a lot in value and it will be harder to earn. Especially when 100000 users a day join. Given the choice I would keep mine.

Wow what a determined brother!!!! I thing that you should go with your 1st option ie gradually buy steem daily with your earnings..it takes care of risks more than your second option. I wish you success-upped, always.

I posted about a solid project airdrop-feel free to check it out , join it and get free crypto...more success.

Did you taken into account how low the price is right now and the potential gain you would see if you sold after it was up more? I would think that the current low prices would make a big difference in your decision. Curation rewards should be increased with that kind of SP as well.

Do you have an Android app for notification, sir? Secondly, You are doing a great job by investing and I am sure you earning enough in return too.

The Beta is currently being tested. It should be in the Store soon.

Would love to have it. Waiting for such an app for a long time now.

With blogging that will be a tough way but still it would be more satisfactory to earn :)

Great vlog!
I would just stick with your 150k goal.
So don't buy everything at once.
That's more fun. ;)

You initially presented 2 ways of reaching that goal and mentioned that both would take almost the same time to reach it (roughly).

Your calculations are not wrong, but considering the direction of the markets and the amount of speculation that is about to hit the crypto world, I would choose the second method, buy all you need to reach the objective and then sell out your winnings to get back the money. This way, you are already covering the next jump, and let´s be real, STEEM price won´t go below $1, you are pretty safe.

honestly I think your approach is spot on. It is more like the dollar-cost averaging investing approach. And your ROI sounds pretty good to me! haha This is the first video/post of yours I have seen. I came across your blog from reseller's last steemit minute video. I personally like your idea of being full on in the community and being active, in lieu of the bidbot way. Is it worth it financially, time put it, etc? Maybe not, but there is intrinsic value there right? The fun factor. :) Maybe a combination of the blogging and bidbot. I don't know haha I am only 6 months into this platform. :)

nice post, i need to earn well on thus platform

I'll just leave it here ;)

Good plan..
Carry on your activities..
I always follow you..

Cool, my goal is $1000 SBD/Steem :D

Good calculation.
But i have no idea about how our rewards send to us after calculatin curation. Please tell me about that.
Good work. Keep it up.

Well you know the best way that's affordable for you 150k STEEM power is huge and the way you've made your assessments I can say your calculation through smartsteem method would be best

“Risk, that's the name of the game“🤘 Great, yes hope that Steem get the 10 Dollar too. It's a really good idea that you have🤗

Cool go ahead, you will reach your dream. Best wishes!

I am doing both on two separate accounts. So posting in the steemsilvergold tag mainly and investing by delegating after a cash injection.

It is not a bad thing to invest in SP (Steem Power) with a fixed rate of return of 17%-18% per year.

My first goal is 1K!
Lol!

Nice planning. You ve got really good thoughts and make some necessary decisions. Buying STEEM and then returning the money with the income you make. Pure genious. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing.

All the very best and I do really believe you will get there !
Like you got to 100k

Best wishes that you achieve your goal easier and faster than planned! Great goal!! All the best. STEEM⬆️⬆️⬆️
