Agreed. Their website is also extremely general in explanation. If Coinbase adds an Altcoin likely it would be Stratis which fills the gap where Ethereum doesn't. Stratis is .NET and has special interest in banking and medical communities.
Past that DASH is a strong contender as well.
I would love for it to be Stratis!!! But go looking around and Aragon keeps coming up
@cryptohustler but at 39 on the coin market cap and only supported by two exchanges (according to my blockfolio) what is the gain for coinbase unless they have direct interest?
I honestly don't know, and I'm puzzled by it to. The only reason I'm bringing it up is I saw it a few times on different sites, like quite a few.
When I have concrete info I call it News otherwise rumors...
But yea it's pretty shaky if you ask me.
Which sites are you reading? I'm a bit new to this and have stuck to coin telegraph and coin desk.
I think Coinbase might not want to get involved with Dash or Monero because of those coins privacy aspect.
I have done absolutely no research into Monero, but Dash has some extra security layers missing in Ethereum. Some of these have to start doing thing. That is why I like PotCoin.
Or dgb
Tried to look them up, their website is broken.
Who dgb?
Digibyte
Really? They are supposed to be 5x more secure than btc
Dash is an intriguing Coin. I just think because of the Anonymous factor Coinbase won't touch it.
most likely can't. This NY Bit License is terrible for those of us who live here. I agree with you @vogeltron1. You are completely right. If they add a coin it has to be open and not anonymous.
To answer where I search
I'm boycotting coindesk
But ethnews.com Is good
I spend a decent amount of time searching Reddit
@crypt0
And then just searching online, but it's hard deciphering the bs but if it's repeated enough times there must be a reason.
