LONDON: In an unusual episode, a lady from Bristol, UK "stole" her bike again from a cheat who publicized it available to be purchased on Facebook.
As per a report in the Telegraph on Saturday, Jenni Morton-Humphreys, 30, posted a photo of her stolen cycle on Facebook and advanced for offer assistance. Hours after the fact, a kindred cyclist recognized her cycle while surfing Facebook.
The two at that point chosen to purchase the cycle again from the seller.
Ms Morton-Humphreys asked for the city police to go with her on the mission and capture the guilty party, yet her demand was declined.
Resolute, she moved toward the seller to orchestrate a meeting in any case.
"I claimed to be intrigued and posed senseless inquiries about the cycle. I said the seat was too high and inquired as to whether I could get on it to test it out," Ms Morton-Humphreys was cited as saying.
The lady at that point took the bike for a test ride and just accelerated away.
Furthermore, there's a significantly more joyful end to this story. Turns out, the criminal had dealt with minor repairs to the cycle in front of the deal.
