I'm still using fb and have never used instagram. I'm in Thailand and fb has been strange all day today. It's down right now for me.
I've noticed all kinds of people posting on fb about this las vegas fakery and so I think they might be trying to stop people from talking. Just a theory, but this is the first event that I see NO ONE believing.
I'm wondering if this might be "payback" from the DDoS experienced here recently?
Reminds me of Uber attacking Lyft, not only hacking servers but also requesting rides to no-shows.

I recently read a blog post on Steemit, where this gentleman(can't remember his name) said that by 2019 Steemit is going to have 30 million users.

While I believe that SteemIt is indeed better, we need to make sure we never rest on our laurels, that other recent DDoS attack on SteemIt that brought it down for around 6-9 hours shows that we can always make SteemIt better. One day, hopefully SteemIt will take up more of the social media percentage!

This kind of giant doesn't go down like this, and anyway ppl are not client of facebook they get there for free, so the panic will come when the advertisement industry start to drop they are the real clients not ppl wrong signal to watch here.
Don't get me wrong I'd love to see facebook go down the tube. Steemit need a private message for members to start competing with websites like facebook. Hopefully steemit team will move to EOS blockchain by 2019.
