The engineers found a weakness in the "Preview" button that allows viewing the profile as it looks to other surfers. The problem is that this tool revealed a digital key that allows people to access Facebook from the device without the need for a password, meaning that they identify with Facebook using the key. An attacker could use the firewall to log on to an account that does not belong to it. The workers realized that 50 million people had been hurt by this breach
What to do?
To see if someone has already signed in to your account, go to the Login and Security page and check the list of devices you're connected to, if you're unfamiliar with a foreign device. If you've identified one, just delete it with a click.
Password - Facebook say there is no need to change password because the loophole has been blocked but it is always advisable to change password for each case. We recommend a different password from other accounts, integrated characters and not short.
2-Step Verification - Enabling 2-Step Verification requires you to enter a special code that you will receive in the message even after you have already entered a password in an attempt to connect. This prevents an attacker from accessing your account if it only has a password because it must physically hold your device to access. Please note that recently in the media it was revealed that Facebook uses a cell phone number that you submitted for two-stage verification for advertising purposes. So for your consideration.
