Facebook's new button 'downstream' is coming to identify people's objectionable comments under a post. Facebook authorities have just launched this button on a number of public pages in the United States.

A Facebook spokesman said, through the down-voting buttons, users will be able to signal Facebook about any of those comments posted on their Facebook posts, objectionable or unreasonable.

Facebook has cleared the button saying that we are not testing any digital buttons. We have introduced this button in the United States for testing in order to take feedback on the comments of people in the public page post.

Clicking the down-votes button will give users 'offensive', 'misleading', 'off topic' or 'only irrelevant' options. Through this, Facebook will be able to identify abusive comments as well as false news. Although Facebook has a hidden button now, it is usually behind the comments drop-down arrow, cannot be clicked like the down-vote button.

According to Facebook authorities, this is a short-term test, by which people do not post comments or pages. It's actually made for the purpose of giving feedback to Facebook. Although some comments on how many downstream clicks were received in a comment, nobody would publicly see it.

Now you can use this new button on Facebook to see when users can use it.

What's facebook? Is that that weird testimony of grandpa from the war?

Facebook is a social media medium.

This is a welcome development for facebook. i hope it does go mainstream soon... because facebook is so abused right now, and there are no controls in place to curtail users' excesses.
Thanks for this information. Nice one!
