Sure, but you can monetize those 29k followers on Steemit the same way, right? You could do a product promotion for pay, like many do on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc. That, to me, is a round-about way to recapture some of the attention economy value you create. If you had 29k followers here, you'd get both the crypto value and the promotional value. Win / win for sure. And, best of all, if people don't like what you are putting out there, they don't vote, unlike Facebook where algorithms determine who sees what.
