With Libra Launch, Is Facebook Trying To Become A Virtual Country?

in #facebook5 years ago

Mark Zuckerberg is out for global domination. This is the ultimate goal behind the introduction of the Libra.

With details about Facebook's cryptocurrency starting to filter in, it is evident that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not the targets for Facebook. It is after the sovereignty of nations.

The name Libra is an interesting one that goes back to Roman times. Is Zuckerberg trying to recreate the Roman Empire? Is he on a quest to develop a virtual nation with 2 billion users?

This is a company that is repeatedly come under fire for its questionable business practices. When developing a system of trust, how can one trust a company like this. While Facebook users still show up en masse, the company has a long enough track record of ill-behavior to warrant regulators to stand in the way of this power grab.

There is no doubt that Zuckerberg is not going to operate in the best interest of humanity. He is seeking to remake the global economic system, the same way he made global communications. Unfortunately, we see how spotty that turned out.

Facebook has a record of not considering the full consequences of its activities when rolling them out. Instead, they operate in a manner which should scare the governments of the world. The Libra could, effectively, make Facebook a shadow bank, one that is unregulated.

For once, this is something that the regulators cannot allow to happen.
