TEMPLE THOUGHTS Matthew 17 27

Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.
How do you explain the information above? Let's follow the progression. There was a tribute to be paid and Jesus sent Peter to the bank of the sea.

  • go to the sea.
  • cast a single hook
  • take the first fish
  • open it 's mouth
  • take the coin in the mouth of the fish
  • pay for you and I.
Trying to understand this miracle of provision can cause a mighty headache. So, someone accidentally dropped a coin and it's glitter caught the attention of a fish, with the coin in its mouth the fish saw another glittering metal, Peter 's hook, then......................... Please stop troubling yourself for there is no searching of His understanding.
Who instructed the fish? Who planned the logistics? Why is the timing so accurate? I think it's time to just agree that God is too great for our understanding.
He is aware of the gold coin at the base of the sea, and the cows on the thousand hills belong to Him. He can instruct ravens to feed His hungry servants and He knows about the treasury in the dark. He can furnish a table in the wilderness and He is your Father.
Drop your heavy financial burden, work and trust that if there is a tribute to be paid, He will link your hook to His fish.
