I hope you caught or watch a bit of Anderson Cooper’s rebuttal. It may not change your mind on mainstream media in general of course, but it certainly sheds some light on this image.
Things of note. This image gained traction from being tweeted out by Trump Jr. to show how media does things to make his father look bad. However the photo is 10 years old... so I doubt that was the intent... Cooper replays the actual coverage this was taken from and in context it is hardly fear mongering or over hyping a situation.
When it comes to criticizing someone for framing something in a certain way to achieve a desired result... the conversation here should include Trump Jr. and the reaction of the Twitterverse and social media far more than CNN & Cooper.
