I try to blog about all sorts of things, but I feel like a lot of my followers like hearing updates on family life, so that is what I am going to write about today.
Kendra is now 6 months old and has started eating "solid" food and loving it. We adopted her so she has been on formula for the first 6 months, but is really enjoying the variety of new foods she gets to eat. Her favorite seems to be a baby applesauce mixed in with some rice cereal... yum! She is getting opinionated and is definitely a fan of her parents... We tried to put her in the nursery at church for the first time, but she gave them heck, and they had to call us to come get her! Oh well, we will try again soon.
Jacob has been getting bigger too and recently upgraded to a big boy bed from his crib. Although he occasionally gets out and sticks his head around the corner to check on us, he has done well overall in the transition and you can tell he feels proud that he can have a big boy bed now. He has been a good big brother and is always helping get toys for Kendra or give her hugs and kisses... it is quite special!

You have such a lovely family. Your kids deserve all the time and attention you could them. And they already look so cute and lovely much thanks to all the love you show them. Kids are a bunch of blessing and responsibility. If you catch them young, you will ever be proud when you look at all you have been able to achieve together with them. The time is passing very fast, and as the time goes also the young children continue and continue to grow, Jacop looks very happy in his new bigger bed, that's good for him because he can say I'm growing and when I grow up I'll be as good a person as my father. Cut kids! Raising a family is a full time job, and it isn't for the fainthearted. But I feel a little bit uncomfortable about Jacob's 'big boy's bed'. I hope he doesn't roll off. I guess I'm used to seeing kids his age sleep with their parents and not by themselves.
I think Kendra is very cute I love her blue eyes, it's fun to see them eat things they try for the first time to see their faces, I met with friends and rest this weekend so it was fine and tomorrow it's back to the office
Your children are growing rapidly, recently when I joined and started to see your post Kendrá was serving 3 months! Big changes will keep happening Kendra will soon start crawling and then walk and Jacob every day he'll do new things as a big boy! How beautiful that they have a good relationship of siblings, that is very important. Our weekend was also good, we shared with family at home.
I understand you want to talk about your family, I as a parent I never tire of talking about my daughters who are the light of my life! Although they are a little grown up compared to their children, I always remember when they were the age of your children, and believe me many adventures come to your life! Enjoy them... Awwww! How adorbs! My baby boy is almost 6 months old now, too funny, and I'm actually still breastfeeding for a little while longer. I plan on starting "solid" foods soon, to give him some variety :) Glad your little one is taking to it happily, that's cool! :)
