I'm in a similar situation @samysamy, My children were ten years apart and i often wished they were closer together in age or, ideally I would have had another one in the middle. But that's the way it was.
I now have two grandchildren. They are just a year and a eight months apart an it is really hard work. They both need lots of adult attention/help but they have completely needs.
My daughter never gets a break and one or other seems to wake up in the night. She had not idea it would be this tough when she had the second so soon.
But no doubt, at the other end of it, it will be great because they will be grown up at the same sort of time too.
Swings and roundabouts I suppose. 😁
They have a very bright future ahead of them...
