Does your family have a tradition when it comes time for holidays? Mine certainly does. Even though I no longer live at home and have established a life with @biffybirdcam I still carry on certain traditions and let me tell ya, @biffybirdcam never goes hungry. Here. Growing up, my grandma would always bake lots of yummy treats near the holidays and I would help her. This treat I made today was one of the very first goodies I learned to bake with her as it’s super easy to make. Lately, I find myself missing her, and finding myself more and more in the kitchen. Tonight I decided on chocolate M&m pretzel bites. Typically, I enjoy baking alone and have Ryan close by but tonight I allowed him to help. (Maybe not the brightest idea as he’s sloppy when it comes time for the m&ms) but hey, it’s something we got to do together and laugh! These pretzel bites are super easy to bake and make a nice sweet but salty snack. Just purchase pretzel, chocolate wafers(found at a local craft store) and m&ms.
Place pretzels on cookie sheet-no need to spray Place chocolate wafers on top of pretzels Heat in oven for 1-2 minutes or until chocolate is melting Place m&ms on top of chocolate Cool until chocolate is hard - I personally place my cookie sheet in the freezer for a few minutes to help with the cooling process!
Easy snack to pack in lunches, take to a holiday work party or even put in tins mixed with Christmas cookies.
ENJOY!!!!
