It seems as though we have underestimated the seriousness of this situation, I had heard about this story but could never find it till now when one of the readers of my last post pointed it out to me. Thank you @belerophon.
In 2009 a couple tried to leave Sweden with their child of whom they had been homeschooling, they boarded a plane but before the plane could take off the police and CPS also boarded the plane and kidnapped the young boy who was the same age as our Marley, after reading this story of the couple who were planning to move from Sweden just like we are and were homeschooling their child just like we are I have decided to take this much more seriously.
Plan B
We were planning on leaving in a week when I had finished work and we had finalized everything, this is no longer an option in my eyes, instead we will smuggle Marley out of the country with her mother as soon as possible, it's too risky to have them in the tinyhouse with the rest of us as this vehicle is registered in my name.
Obviously, I can't fill you in on all the details but within a day or 2, we should all be reunited in Finland, Denmark, Norway or Russia. Who Knows ;)
This might seem a bit OTT but after reading the story you will understand my new found worry for the whole situation, what makes this worse is that back in 2009 homeschooling was legal in Sweden, It was in 2011 that it became illegal.

Please Don't worry i'm good at this, and like I said they will never get their hands on our Marley, I know I am overreacting but I will not take any chances when it concerns my family.
I know this will be ok, and I really don't want anyone to worry.

Thank you @canadian-coconut for your prayers and support, I only just saw this message otherwise I would have told you sooner, we are now in Finland after making a run for the nearest unmanned border, we are Safe and more importantly so is Marley. I have done a little update post but once we have had a rest and figured out what to do next I will do a more in depth post about the whole process etc.

We have thought about that but we are always one step ahead :) plus I we are not in the country anymore and of needs be we will claim political asylum. We are leaving Sweden for good so they have no claims on our children anymore.

Wow, that's scary. But I'm sure you guys will be perfectly fine. It's horrible you all have to go through this just because you want to school your own child and not to have her brainwashed by the system. I wish you all the best and your wife and Marley an easy escape. Hope to hear from you soon.

I haven't read your other posts yet but I'm just about to. Do they take children that try to leave the country if they are home schooled?

Just one of the restricted freedoms in a "free" country.
And in many other "free" european countries too.
Oh for sure! So many places that legislate away the rights of parents to choose what is best for their families. It is sooo wrong. This is one (of many) reason(s) I advocate for homeschooling families in my neck of the woods. It never ceases to amaze me how despite the stigma, homeschoolers continually outperform their public school peers.
They will probably do the same in the US before long!
I think there are many politicians that would like to see that happen in the US and some states don't allow homeschooling or are crazy strict about it. Other states have protections in place for homeschoolers that would be difficult to repeal.
Praying for your family's safety. I believe that homeschooling should be legal everywhere with minimal restrictions. Parents should be able to raise their children as they see fit without government interference. Of course there should be precautions for children who are neglected or abused, but not for children who are loved enough to not be indoctrinated.
Mark, like they say, prepare for the worst and hope for the best! So stay calm, plan thoroughly and get out soon. Think of this mission as some scary adventure you are embarking on, but one that you will complete no matter what. And then you will all be together again.
And of course, we'll worry till we hear from you. Please keep us updated whenever possible. But I promise not to worry too much as I know you have got what it takes. All my thoughts and prayers are there with you and your family. Take long deep breaths whenever you need and just do it! This type of thing is starting to happen in the USA too.
One way out might be to de-register yourself from Sweden. This works for many countries. If you don't have your residency there, you escape from a lot of regulations. Good luck with this!
That's true and it could be the first step. But, as the registration central allready knows about the case (they usually get informed), it only will help for a very short time. I did the same, I de-registered my children and a few days later smuggled them out of the country. And a week or so later the police was at my door.
Right @andalucia, i was not fully aware of the whole situation and read the 1st post just now, it's a bit more complicated than i thought, i amost can't believe it, the Swedish are terrible on this subject.
It's a shame and very sad how they deal with our children. I didn't know that Sweden changed so much so fast on this subject.

I think it's utterly disgusting the way authorities seem to think it's their inherent right to bully, abuse and control people. And that so many people who think the authorities are better than the rest of us, and blindly go along with all bullshit laws, allow madness like this to continue. People need to stop empowering their slave masters and turn their back on them or things are never go get better.
That being said I pray that you and the entirety of your family can find safety and security out of the insanity that is Sweden. It seems like Sweden, like Canada, is descending in to some kind of surreal, twisted Orwellian state. So I really hope that you all find somewhere soon.

I really hope that you are succesful. I grew up a ward of the state in Colorado, spent my entire life home to home. Forced to take medications, and much more. Those agencies are a business and will try anything they can on individuals they target to get their kids from them, and try to turn them into what they think they need to be. I am so sorry that you may have to deal with this too....

I have had very very similar experiences when I was homeschooling my children in Germany, where the situation is at least as bad as in Sweden. And the situation you are in at the moment is even more serious than you can imagine. I am sorry I can't help you with your escape, but as I am living in Spain now, I want you to know, that you can come and stay with me as long as your situation needs it.
