Today, we had a meal together with my wife's family at her hometown. The kids were so happy to eat with their cousins, who they rarely get to see in a year. The food was amazing! There was village-style rice called tadong (brown rice), cassava leaves, which my kids and I love, fried deer meat (from my father-in-law's hunt a few days ago), bosou (salted fermented fish with white rice), and more.
