So proud... @ak2020 named in Top 100 most influential UK BAME Tech leaders by the FT

Today the news came out that my little sis, @ak2020 has been named in the top 100 most influential BAME leaders in technology by the Financial Times.

I'm so proud of her.

It is fitting that I should hear this news on my return from Steemfest 3.

Two years ago, @ak2020 came to Amsterdam with me at Steemfest 1. Part of the plan then was to spend time discussing our future ventures, it is good to see many of her ideas now coming to fruition.

In between Steemfest 1 and now @ak2020 has been building her businesses.

She founded her own communications and events company Africa Business 2020 in 2015, with a purpose of connecting entrepreneurs and businesses in Africa with investors in the diaspora and globally.

In 2017 she conceived the Tech In Ghana Conference, held twice a year in the London and Accra which bridges the gap between tech start-ups in Ghana and industry leaders in the UK.

It is great to see her efforts getting recognition. Her influence is real as she has taken the time to build strong business relationships in the UK and across the whole of Africa.

We often speak about Steem and how we can fold the utility of cryptocurrency into the ever-changing tech and business landscape in Africa. I sometimes scold her for not leveraging Steem more however it is good to see she is putting her time to good use... so she is forgiven! I know when the time is right we will help connect the dots.

Tonight though @ak2020 is out celebrating and deservedly so.

@mummyimperfect will go in my stead. @mummyimperfect deserves a night out, having held down the fort whilst I was attending the Malta Blockchain Summit and Steemfest 3.

I will however toast my little sister from home. I know this is only the beginning of her leaving her footprint on the world.

Your little sister is so great, I don't want you to scold her again just because her don't want to hear your words ...Now it's time for her to scold you nanzo ...😜.

I hope he doesn't have a boyfriend yet, so I can be with him ...please send my greetings to him...😊😊😊

This is huge and a great achievement. I say congratulations to her and it is definitely the beginning of many more success.

I like how she has so much preached technological adoption in Africa through her steemit blog before the hiatus. And I'm glad her efforts are well noted.

Cheers to more wins.

I missed her this year ! Please give her a big hug from me and yes I try to keep vibrating and shining as much as possible 🤪 Thanks for your previous comment
