RE: What's it really like being a single dad?

in #family7 years ago (edited)

Hi @Maverickfoo.. lucky you have @deborism. As a single parent, I've to be both mom and dad to my son most times. But I thank God for sending Guardian Angels in human form to guide him in different phases of his life. It helps that my son to sees different perspectives from others besides my own and I can see his head is screwed "right" so far.

BTW, please ensure Will's books or tablet are at arms length when he reads or writes so as not to spoil his eyesight. Erm, this is the mom in me talking. Ha~! <3

Yeah, noted on the eyes. A constant reminder really.

And glad to see Joshua turning out awesome! I've known may young adults with both parents and still got lost in life and make the worst decisions. Sometimes when you have lesser, you strive harder, maybe?

Hmmmm, I think so too bro. Come what may, one tends to strive harder and don't give up to ensure you give the best to your child.

One would wonder if it had been induced, meaning it's a deliberate act, would the parent be better too?
