This post is kinda like that! I had such an amazing weekend that I thought I have to share it with my Steem Fam. πΈππ
My darling @morkrock and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary.πππ It's crazy how fast time flies, but at the same time, our wedding feels like ages ago.
To celebrate, we did all sorts of things this weekend.πππ
First up, on Saturday morninig, we vroomed π to the Cape Winelands πΎ to celebrate our godson's 4th birthday. π It was out in the beautiful winelands, where our country is famous for growing the best grapes for wine. The party was held at a kiddies carnival area, where there were loads of jungle gyms and slides for the kiddies to go mental on, and tire themselves out.
It was kinda funny to us, as people without kids, how the parents of the kids at the party elected one parent to be the sober, responsible parent/driver, and the other to drink. (and quite a lot).
are kids that stressful? LOL. π€π
After spending the afternoon in the Winelands, we vroomed π back into the city to Sea Point π where there was a market that was holding a beer festival. We caught up with some friends who we have not seen for ages, this was so good for the soul! πΈ
Sea Point was looking smashing, with the ocean twinkling in the bright sunlight, I wish I had taken a photo. π
May I urge to call that friend that you haven't seen for a while - a catch up is always good!πΈ
Then we vroomed π to our favourite sushi restaurant to celebrate a little more. π£π± We ate way too much, but it was so damn delicious. By this stage we were pretty pickled and completely stuffed, so we rolled on home to chill out and fall asleep on the couch (me, lol).π

haha, no it was my going out outfit. but, um, yeh, I am that girl...with the make up and the nails. LOL. I can't help it, i love being a girly girl.

Lovely weekend β€ is always great when you caught up with some friends who we have not seen for time, because both have a lot to tell and you can talk for hours!! jajaj

Ohhthe designated driver or parent , I remember that when our kids were young, nut sure its a matter of kids being stressful but just one being fully alert if anything happenned I guess

Yeah kids are stressful but I cannot say that they drive me to drink. I had one single Smirnoff Spin at home while turning the meat on the braai. Because I wanted the taste.
That was Saturday evening. That morning we went to the beach in Bloubergstrand.
Sunday was good, we played boardgames and went for a walk around the neighborhood.
