Hey Friends! We took the boys camping for two nights. It was a lovely getaway, although we came back thoroughly exhausted, and one that we hope to do again soon.
The boys have been studying bees as their nature study the last few weeks. We have just started learning about the Blue Tongue Lizard and we were hoping to see bees and lizards.
We ended up seeing bees, little blue hooded birds, kangaroos, spiders, monarch butterflies, a crab and a seal! What epic nature walks we had!
Mr6 has been really enjoying the Colin Theile novel Storm Boy so we finished the camping trip at the Murray River mouth to see where the novel had been set and inspired by. It was pretty special and a memory I don’t think he’ll forget.
All in all it was a fun little getaway but now I need to get into my garden and also sleep for a week 😴
Peace,
Jessi
They're so cute and little. Are they wallabies? Where did you go?
Deep Creek :) We thought it was a kangaroo and joey...they were small but a bit bigger than the photo lets on.
