A new addition into the Apeji dynasty (family).
Last week my brother's wife gave birth to a bouncing baby boy and so we are celebrating a new addition into the family dynasty. He was born in the north side of Nigeria. The naming ceremony was done a couple of days ago and pictures where taken during the ceremony and so i like to share some of the naming ceremony photos with you.
This platform steemit is something i try to advertise to people, so, i jokingly asked the new born baby if he wanted to join steemit when he grows up and he said yes. It was quiet funny and surreal because when i jokingly asked him whether he wanted to join steemit, he nodded his head up and down at the exact moment i asked him the question. Funny and amazing right?.ππ. This is why i want to sharing photos of the naming ceremony with you. Enjoy the view.
the boy and his parents.
the new baby already having a father to son bond in a photo.
the new baby with his parents and siblings.
the new baby's sister does not look happy in the photo because he has taken her place. Hahahahahaha. Am just joking. I think she actually hungry at that time, that is why she was looking not happy.
more photo from the naming ceremony of my nephew.
photos of people singing praise and worship song during the naming ceremony.
this is my mother, the proud grand-mother praising God and dancing with the baby during the name ceremony.
other people singing and praising God during the naming ceremony.
the pastor giving a short message during the naming ceremony.
paper of the name of the child been given for people to see.
obviously you can't see the names of the child through the paper given. The name of the child is YORAM OMEIZA APEJI.
now my brother is handing his new baby boy to the pastor for the pastor to officially mention the name he has given his child so that the pastor can bless the names.
Me smiling. The photographer was trying to mess around, so he took a photo of me personally while the pastor was officially naming the child.
cross-section of people praying for the new born baby.
this is me again at the end bending my head praying for my new born nephew for things to be well with him in life.
the parents and new born baby taking photos with the pastor, after the official naming of the child.
finally i had to squeeze a photo with the baby and his parent's for memory sake.
there are still more photos, but i will share them in the next post.
