ALWAYS GIVE BACK TO YOUR PARENTS

Often times, we easily forget the finger which fed us and move on to another phase like they never existed. All around the world, we have seen vast majority of ungrateful people. Most kids turned their back on their parent due to one mistake and others stopped communicating with their family because they believe they are adult and all grown and therefore they should be leaving their own lives. A mechanic invest more time in fixing a car than the pay they get, especially when it is a road side one, most Nigerians can relate to this, that is the same way our parents goes out to work and stress themselves out, they are not only doing it to put food on the table but also to ensure you as their kid have a better life than them. As kids we may not understand what our parents are passing through except you grew up way too fast.
I have seen parent selling their landed properties to send their kids to school and others abroad. I have also seen people sell their father’s property just to travel out of the country against their parent wish, the deed has been done so we all have to accept things the way we see them and move on.

Being married does not mean your parents are to be pushed aside and not to be taken care of. You are the investment plan of your parents but not in all cases, financial need but your attention. We should learn to give back to parents in as much they given to us willingly even when they have little, read a story of a man at the ATM spot who withdrew money to give his daughter to pay her fees and telling her to always read her and she knows there is no money. Everyone cannot be from a rich home but wherever you find yourself, always try to change things from the way you met it.
