Human trafficking is one of the problems in Indonesia. Most victims of trafficking are women, as experienced by Nita (13). Women from Ngawi, East Java, feel the bitterness of being victims of trafficking and often get inhumane treatment.
Nita's life at this time is not easy. This woman must have dropped out of school and did not complete her primary school for cost reasons. Plus he had to face the realities of bitter, if his own siblings willingly sell it to others.
Nita's father died when Nita was 3 years old. Since then Nita's mother became the backbone of the family. "In order not to burden my mother, I chose to go with my brother in Palangkaraya," said Nita,
The decision was taken Nita five years ago. When he first set foot on his brother's home he wished he started a new life better. He is willing to do various jobs, ranging from a maid to the shop keeper.
A month after Nita lived with her brother, her sister's economic condition became more unstable. Until there was talk that Nita got a job offer from her brother's friend. Actually Nita never know what job offered from her brother's friend, but once again this innocent woman menyiakan and follow with her brother's friend.
"At first my sister promised me to join my friend so I would be given a job, until in Batam I was forced to become a prostitute, I wanted to run away but my sister said that my sister sold me to her," said six children from six siblings .
Nita never thought that the siblings who were supposed to protect her had the heart to sell it. After asking some people finally Nita know that during this time his brother was working as a syndicate of human trafficking. The woman who now works as SPG tells her sadness and disappointment. "I might be able to accept if someone else does it, but knowing if that plunges me into this dark world is my own sister, it makes me very hurt," said Nita
It took Nita five years to get out of the shackles of human trafficking. Nita never gave up, for her it was not easy to erase her dark past, but she was determined to live her life better.
This post I submit to CPS so we all care about the dangers of human trafficking thanks to @ familyprotection @ canadian-coconut and @markwhittam so I can contribute to this CPS.
