"I would like those people who are not from Venezuela to read this kind of publications, give us their support, the truth is that when we publish this type of publications we want to get to you and give you the best information of what is happening in Venezuela".

In 73 schools that have been affected by the rains and in another 109 that are used as shelters for victims, they will not start classes.

According to official figures, 7,644,869 students throughout the national territory are incorporated into the new school term today. Of this total, 6 million 442,269 are enrolled in public schools, of which 1 million 575,714 are registered in initial education; 2 million 869,310 in primary school; 1 million 651,001 belong to the level of secondary education; 135 thousand 512 to technical education; 171,643 in adult and adult education, and 39,117 are in the special education level.

According to the statistics offered by the Minister of Education, Aristóbulo Istúriz, this represents 16.37% increase in school enrollment for this period of 2018.

It also means the incorporation of more than one million workers in the education sector, who will also begin their work from Monday; 500,000 are educators, 73,000 are workers and 70,000 are administrative personnel.

In his opinion, there has been an "exodus" of students from the private sector to the public sector as a result of the high cost of registration, which according to the minister is a consequence of "economic war."

Due to this, he informed that meetings are being held with the National Superintendency for the Defense of Socioeconomic Rights (Sundde) and the Ministry of Internal Trade to evaluate the excessive increase in some private schools and the actions to be taken to protect parents and representatives. .

Istúriz also referred to the possibility of increasing enrollment in various private educational institutions and warned that this could not happen since "within the list of agreed prices the Government incorporated to schools", which is why since last Friday On September 14, meetings were held with private schools and the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, to discuss the matter.

In addition, Istúriz predicted that for this year the School Feeding Program (PAE) will be maintained, which expects to serve 4,500,000 students and be present in 18,000 schools.

He also announced that a vaccination program will be intensified in educational institutes to prevent diseases such as diphtheria.

Another point that touched during the press conference last Friday was what happens with the schools that have been affected by the rains, particularly in the south of the country, and said that these schools will not start classes on Monday, September 17. As in the rest of the educational facilities of the country, they will have a reprogrammed calendar.

My Analysis and Personal Summary of the Publication

Today, millions of children in Venezuela begin class, which for many parents and this is not a joy if not the opposite, it is a huge concern, since sending a child, adolescent to class is meaning to spend a lot of money .

What I want to say with all this, at this time the parents of these children can not afford the price of the school uniform or books because at this time the purchasing power is not enough to just buy a pair of shoes.

Many student representatives see themselves in the unfortunate situation of taking their children out of school, which results in this child or adolescent losing the school year and most importantly, the love of study, which is their main tool for create your future.

Absences are 30 out of every 100 students between 3 and 15 years old from the poorest strata, and 24 out of 90 students from the most resourceful classes. In this sense, the crisis is democratic: the problems that cause absenteeism are not exclusive to the most disadvantaged sectors.

This has led many to drop out of school altogether and take to the streets to work, in order to help their families that many times they do not have to eat in the day.

Venezuela has public and free schools and universities, but this is not enough, since the country's economic crisis is leading parents to not be able to send their children to school.

They must make the decision to save the little money they have for food or to send their children to school, and it is obvious that the money will be invested in food, which is for the only thing that reaches us money.

Thank you very much for reading my POST I hope you liked it and come back at the next opportunity.
