I know you have a great deal of expert knowledge in this field, and can only myself draw from my own experience as a Father. But one line does ring true with me in particular "Take the first step by taking a walk around the neighborhood and get to know both the kids and the parents in your own neighborhood. One smile and a "kind word" goes a long way." this is so true and also covers much more - because while we talk about Steemit as a community the same ideas exist here as we connect with the various creators on here.

My friend, I am by no means an expert but I do know kids and what kids need and that is a lot of love and attention. The same goes with adults. Most are living "fear based" lives and it is up to "us" to help ease those fears. As the song goes "Put a little love in your heart!" Love in any form eases pains and fears.
