Jesus was referring to the hypocrisies of the scribes and pharisees in Matthew 23:1-36.
In Amos passage there, God hates whatever his people does for him because they are anyway not abiding his rules that is why he hates whatever religious practices they do, it is not counted for them.
Anyway my point is that I just want my nephews to be in the right path so that they would be God-fearing unlike children of today which are just exposed in many things that can take them away from God's rule and dominion.
Yes but I think many people think if they light a candle, or wear a robe, or do these sort of rituals that are not in the bible that they are pleasing God. None of that pleases him. And yes I understand you want your family to inherit the kingdom I God. We all want that <3
