CPS in Portugal - Abort your child or we will take her after she is born - Bruna Gonçalves' case
Things that are common in Canada, Australia and UK, etc are starting to become common in Portugal too.
When Bruna was pregnant, social workers approached her and told her to have an abortion, otherwise they would remove the child from her after birth.
The reason was that Bruna had been institutionalized herself when she was a child.
She answered: "I will never be as my mother was"
They didn't care
She cried.
She had the baby anyway and they were signalized by the Portuguese CPS.
I understand part of the argument that sometimes if a woman suffers from domestic violence is because she felt attracted by a violent man and I assume I sometimes used to judge a bit those women myself. But in this case, she was being judged because she was mistreated by her mother as a child!!!! That is not acceptable.
After some months, the baby had a fall, she went to the hospital and.....almost automaticly: their daughter would be removed from the family.
Social workers even visited her some days before the removal and she asked if they wanted to watch her bathing the child and they said no. In spite of it there was a report about poor hygiene. It was fake.
After the removal of the child, there were medical reports that stated that the fall was accidental.
Mother's lawyer - "In practice, judges don't decide.....Social workers make the decision. Judges just accept the reports as true. This is a situation that may happen to anyone who has children - Even myself, I was once threatened with that if I wouldn't shut my mouth up"

I found out that there is a lot of material on youtube about Portuguese parents in UK that don't speak well English , don't know the rules of the system and so, they are easy preys to the adoption business. I also found a lot of material about things done by the Portuguese CPS, that is becoming similar to the ones from anglo-saxon countries in what regards to wrongly removing children from families. The material is in Portuguese and I want to add English subtitles and that is a lot of work so please keep curating my videos to give me motivation to do that. Follow me and feel free to give me suggestions to improve my articles.
Stay safe people and I hope you found my article interesting to read!!!!!!!!

About the author: My life until now has been a crazy one. When I was younger I wanted to study math or engineering but the social pressure made me attend medical school.
In Portugal, medical college is a 6 years degree and you start it after you finish high school. Tuition fees are symbolical and your entrance is only based on the high school marks. You need a very high average mark to enter.
Many people with high average marks, although they didn't think about attending medical school, are pressed by their parents to attend it.
I didn't like medical school. It was not what I wanted so I had a profound depression and I left it.
I love to write, and although English is not my native language, I will try my best to offer you interesting articles.

How will I calculate it?
Imagine that my article has a reward of 20$, after curation, I get 15$, 7.5 SBDs and 7.5 Steem Power
Imagine that SBDs are worth 7USD and Steem 6 USD.
So, final reward after curation: 7.5 x 7 + 7.5 x 6 = 52.5+45 = 97.5 USD
So, I will donate 53.63 USD to @familyprotection (55% of 97.5 USD )(paid in SBDs or Steem according to my balance at the moment of payment) and I will donate 4.88 USD to informationwar (5% of 97.5 USD) (paid in SBDs or Steem according to my balance at the moment of payment)
It is serious that this is happening to the Portuguese, I thought that because of its Catholic tradition, abortion would not be something that the state agencies would sponsor.
it's legal in Portugal since 2007 https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aborto_em_Portugal
I am very glad to hear your remarks about donations for @familyprotection because I also contributed to @familyprotection although only a little I gave but I hope to help @familyprotection.
