I'm amazed that they apologized. They must have seen the damage that they did to the family and realized later their mistake.

"Woman gave birth behind a motel with no medical assistance."

I wonder if someday every home-birth is given some silly reason like this to take extreme action against families. That's ridiculous. @ironshield

    In some places in the US it is illegal to have a homebirth. So having a deliberate home birth would be cause for extreme action...
