In recent times over the Steemit community, I have been inspired by a steemit account @familyprotection that is handling by a group of people purely in intention to support and protect the families from “Child Protection Services” (CPS).
I am living a Middle-Class lifestyle in India as I am not earning much and financially not too fit to help for the issues happening in the society but still, I am willing to donate what I can to @familyprotection steemit group and here is why I took the decision?
How @familyprotection clutched my attention?
I know a steemian @misslasvegas from the day 1 of my Steemit Journey. She always used to encourage my works and often I am having the habit of reading her blog posts and I saw few of her posts when scrolling her blog up and down (I didn’t even use to open and read it) published under #familyprotection tag.
To be honest, until February 6th, 2018, I have not even known the existence of the account @familyprotection. Actually, @misslasvegas is doing #monthlyauthorchallenge as she used to publish a post on crypto’s every day and I am a big fan of her crypto posts and used to read all posts and written my comments on almost her every post let her know what I learned from the post and doubts I would like to ask sometimes.
I had the habit of frequently check for people who all up-voted @misslasvegas posts (not only @misslasvegas but also I used to check for people who up-voted and commented in the posts I inspired most) in terms of visit those people blogs and read their other posts. That’s how I had to visit an account LindaCanadianCoconut (aka @canadian-coconut).
The very first thing I noticed from her account, that she resteemed a post from @markwhittam titled What Is @familyprotection? What Are The Rules? How Do I Donate? Link to Original Post That was again published under the tag #familyprotection when I saw the term Family Protection there was a thing suddenly strike on my mind the same term what @misslasvegas has used in few of her posts.
I just opened the link and completely read what the post is about first and then after what the account @familyprotection is actually.
What I understood and thought right after reading the post??
Okie!! Great Job @familyprotection you are offering a great help to support and protect families from CPS (Child Protection Services).
Did my mind just stop thinking about it (Family Protection) after appreciated their works?

Why you should Protect Families from CPS?
And few other basic questions have been kept raised on my mind. I started studying about it (yet to study how the issues are handling in Asian countries and especially in India), and realized it’s a big subject of an issue to look for.
“No single family or person cannot fight alone against the issue”. I realized they need group of people to support and that is what @familyprotection is offering their supports donating money and as well in all other possible ways to protect families suffering on this particular issue.
There is a portion (explained how to donate) in the post what I read first about Family Protection Services. Right after I gathered knowledge on How to donate funds to @familyprotection, I asked myself, why do I donate? And soon after realized how kind their services are and then I questioned myself again, why don’t I donate to the group that supports for good cause and I decided to contribute my part as much as possible.
What is my donation to @familyprotection for February?
As I said earlier, I am not financially fit as of now to donate directly from my pocket but I feel it would be better to start donating from my Steemit earnings.
I have planned to donate 50% SBD of my posts earnings written under tag #familyprotection and 25% SBD of my posts earnings published under other tags. I promise that I will donate all those SBD’s starting from this post will be donated to @familyprotection every time I receiving post pay-outs for my posts (not comments) up to February 28, 2018.
I believe donating money cannot only be a great support as I have to be responsible in some other way of supporting to the issue. As said, I just started studying about the issue and soon I will be written posts related to the issue and also solutions and ideas to overcome the issue.
I am feeling glad to become a part of Family Protection. Initially, I will work towards promoting posts related to the service in order to let more people come towards helping the group and I will soon start writing posts relevant to the issue.
There are too many people already started donating their contribution towards the group and I wish you all Steemians give your support to @familyprotection by donating your money as much as possible, inviting others to join the mission for good cause as well writing quality posts relevant to the subject.
