RE: PROPAGANDA OF BIOMETRY HAS REACHED KIDS ??

in #familyprotection21 hours ago (edited)

It will be necessary to explain the dangers of biometric data. Big corporations and governments have a 100% failure rate at securing data. After all, that's why the US went after Julian Assange, because he published the secrets they couldn't keep. India mandated biometric ID for all it's population about a decade ago. Today on the dark web you can buy the biometric data of ~1/2 the population of India for ~$80k. Now, if it were their passwords and and usernames, that would be bad enough, but it's their biometric data. They can't ever change their fingerprints, their face, their voice, or their DNA. For the rest of their lives, those people whose biometric data has been stolen from the companies or the government that failed to keep it secure, will be harmed and their identity stolen by criminals.

Thanks!

Edit: the cure for bad information isn't censorship. It's good information. People can understand the difference when educated with tools that enable them to use logic, reason, and how to assess the veracity of information.
