Hello HIVE!

I would like to ask some of my fellow BEEs out there about this platform.

First, a hive blog is supposed to be a free blog in which you can post any idea you have as long as it does not kick out the community rules. Is this information correct? Second, can I post my own story here like a novel with chapters separated by each post? Third, are we allowed to talk about non-Hive-related posts here?

If all the answer to the question above is "Yes", then allow me to introduce a novel I am working on. A story about magic and how a young man tries his best to challenge it.

TITLE: CASTER

In the beginning, only darkness rules over everything.

Cold shivering infinite nothingness, but there is no such thing as nothingness for there exists the Eigengrau.

Dark supreme beings.

They do not have any form nor color other than pure darkness itself, but one is different.

An outcast, for all it has is a glimpse of light.

Eigengrau loves darkness so much that a small light for them is unforgivable, their indolence to create something other than darkness made them vulnerable to change.

Many became jealous, some are curious. But the elders became furious, so they tried to eliminate the outcast.

They absorbed the very darkness living in it, consuming the outcast but each time they devoured a piece , the light only grew stronger, brighter.

Each time they tried, the light exterminates a part of their very existence.

But they grew hungry, lusting for the light.

The proud Eigengrau cannot take that the outcast is slowly disintegrating them.

So they eat one another out of greed for power.

Until the outcast explodes in chaos, devastating other Eigengrau.

And then there is light.
