Far Horizons Steem - New Game Invite
Looking for BETA testers!
I am in need of players willing to play! The initial player UI work has been completed, but alot more needs to be done and I need more players using the UI to test it and provide feedback.
My goal is a (hopefully) user friendly front-end to the classic play by email Far Horizons turn based RPG.

FAR HORIZONS is a strategic role-playing game of galactic exploration, trade, diplomacy, and conquest.
At the start of a game, each player controls an intelligent species and the home planet on which it lives. As the game progresses, you can explore nearby regions of the galaxy and establish colonies. As you range farther and farther from home, you will encounter other intelligent species. These encounters can be hostile, neutral, or friendly, depending on the participants. Interstellar war is a distinct possibility.
FAR HORIZONS, unlike some similar games, has been designed to make role-playing as easy and practical as possible. In addition to being a rich and realistic simulation, there are no true victory conditions - the game is played solely for enjoyment. However, at the end of the last turn, final statistics for all species will be sent to all of the players so that they can compare their relative strengths and weaknesses. Thus, rather than requiring a massive bloodletting as in some other similar games, it's possible for a peace-loving species to effectively "win".
Still, those who enjoy a more aggressive game, or those who wish to role-play an "evil" or warlike species will not be disappointed. FAR HORIZONS does not discriminate against anyone - it simply tries to be as realistic as possible.

The first turn will commence shortly after the join deadline has passed and there are at least two players registered.
There is currently a maximun limit of 20 players per game.
You may also participate in multiple games.

The game front-end does require that you login with your private posting key to verify your identity to show you your specific turn results and in order to submit turn orders as replies to each turn complete announcement. The front-end uses the same steemjs that the steemit website uses and does NOT transmit your private posting key to any servers.
The game will play for at least 20 turns. When the game ends will be determined randomly.
If a turn's announce post receives enough up votes for an SBD payout, and the SBD payout is large enough for the math to work, the SBD payout will be divided up between the players and gamemaster. You can think of it as a player participation pool.

Reply to this post asking the gamemaster to start a new game. Players can only join at the start of a new game.
We have at least one more person wanting to play, who is waiting for their steem account to be approved, I let him know that I would delay the startup by a day in the hopes his account gets approved in the next little bit.
What are the rewards ?
Do you mean participation rewards? It will totally depend on paying up votes and final SBD payout for each turn. Not something I can predict. It will be done on a per turn basis after payout.
Oh, and it is a "no fee" setup, rewards only requires each turn to be up-voted and to also participate in the game. If only interesting in playing, participation in the game does not require up voting, only submitting turn orders.
