My Understanding of Scientology as it Pertains to the Hon. Min. Farrakhan

in #farrakhan6 years ago

In my memory, there was a time when I read the Final Call and there was an article about Scientology. I read the article. What I took from that article and have used to this day is what I believe they call auditing. If my memory serves me correctly, auditing is the skill of focussed listening. The ability to acquire the mind of the speaker without the interference of the listener's ego. The capability to empthize with the message of the speaker and from there analyze that information and reconcile it in order to eliminate misconceptions that the litener' ego maybe holding on to in opposition of the Truth. By utilizing the power of empathy and humbling oneself to listen to a point of view that is not their own, the listener is given an opportunity to understand a situation from more than one point of view. These diferent points of view allows the purposeful listener to visualize alternative solutions and enhancements so that he or she may entertain and make decisions that are more effective as it pertains to any given situation and the information gathered via effective listening skills.

As I said earlier, somewhere in my lifetime, I remember the article in the Final Call informing the readers about auditing, a technique used by the Church of Scientology for more focussed and effective listening. I can't remember which year or month. However, I do know that I took the recommendation and ran with it. Because of that decision, I now have a skill that many do not. I can control my ego, humble myself, and listen carefully to the alternative messages being sent by the different human beings seeking to communicate them. I am able to glean knowlege from the individual speakers while, at the same time, identify the ignorance that may be tainting that particular message.

What make this ability to listen purposefully a skill? Why would a great Black leader of the Islamic faith advise his followers to listen to a group of people that many believe are devil worshippers? If I am wrong about that, I pray for and welcome any truthful dialog about it. The reason I believe the minister advised us , the followers of Islam, to learn from the Church of Scientology was to help us improve our ability to acquire and capture knowledge while simultaneously increasing our closeness to Allah through the practice of humility and empathy which are the necessary pre-requisites of a good listener striving to improve the condition of his or her community, tribe, or nation. If one embraces this technique as a strategy for personal and community upliftment, then one is empowered with more abundant avenues to self-improvement along with political and economic progress. There is a more thorough identification of obstacles, roadblocks, and pitfalls that stand in the way of progress. By improving our ability to acquire intelligence, overcome obstacles, and navigate the terrain to avoid pitfalls, we can build for ourselves and our posterity a stronger founation in which we may continue our just cause in the struggle for freedom, judstice, and equality.

In conclusion, I feel very fortunate that the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan recommended the technique of auditing that he took or borrowed from the Church of Scientology. From a military perspective, I believe that it is advantageous to have as many of the different perspectives of a particular conflict as possible. If I listen to you, but you don't listen to me, then I know you and you don't know me. I have an advantage if I choose to exploit that ignorance and capitalize on it. Because our great leader has humbled himself and listened to a group of people that many people today are outraged because of the association, I have now acquired a great weapon for Justice. This weapon is the art of purposeful listening. The Church of Scientology calls it auditing. For those that challenge Farrakhan's association with the Church of Scientology, I deduce that you are ignorant of the teachings of both. If I am wrong, I am open to honest, truthful, and civil dialog. Until then, otherwise, and therefore, you are embracing ignorance and untruth and you are at a great disadvantage.

PEACE BE UPON YOU
