Almost all ladies do have to struggle when it comes to deciding what to wear to a wedding. You want to look classy, sharp and striking, you want to create stares when you walk in, I mean stares for being the best dressed guest in the event even if it's not your day, but you want to be remembered for glamouring everyone. There are basic rules you must adhere to this basic ground rules, you would be rushing to the big day being the best dressed guest with zero wardrobe stress.
1)Do not put on white to someone else's wedding: it's a no to wear white to someone's wedding so you don't get mistaken as the bride. When you wear white it looks like you're trying to overshadow the bride so avoid this, there's a but to this rule only when it's the colour for the event
2)Wear comfortable heels: wear heels you can walk in all day. It's very embarrassing to find yourself limping when it's time to dance or when you have to walk around to avoid embarrassment of any form, wear comfy heels
3)A dress is a safe choice : a dress is the best choice to wear to a wedding, it makes you look smart, classy and comfortable unlike trouser or skirt. If you are struggling for what to wear to that wedding, simply choose one of your best dress, wear your heels and your lovely makeup and you are good to go
4)It's okay to wear black: personally I love black colour especially on gown, it's not a crime to wear black to a wedding, I know people would say it's the Mark of doom and gloom, black now is an acceptable colour and is a tone for the chic urbanites. So rock that lovely black dress to a wedding as long as you looking good and comfortable in it
5)Rock that dress with a small bag or clutch purse; compliment your dressing with a small bag that can contain all you need or simple a clutch purse. You don't wanna be seen around with a big bag, thats not gonna look good. It's a wedding you don't have to carry much inside your bag. That's why a small bag is a safe go.
6)Avoid inappropriate dressing like wearing dresses with short hemlines, see through dresses etc. Remember it's a wedding not a club house, you wanna look responsible and want people to give you the respect you deserve. So out of respect for the bride, do not wear dresses that exposes your body part.
Saturday are for wedding. Adhere to this basic and I promise you, you would be looking glamorous and will be remembered for it.
