I think maybe the days where most people wear one style per season has gone. Just as music is available to a myriad of tastes so is fashion.
Fashion kids in Lima and Harajuku can check out each others styles. Couture will survive through craftsmanship and creativity, but with all the online options I don't think well have masses of suburban girls wearing endless variations on this years theme.
