Feathered Friday tag is been hosted by @keithboone who is himself very much a bird lover and this week's @featheredfriday i am going to show you this beautiful white Australia Cockatoo i photographed him while i was visiting my brother in Australia last year my brother lives just out of the Sydney suburban areas and he has lots of trees and bushy areas around his house , many species of birds can be seen wondering onto his surrounding balcony coming in for a feed as he leaves seeds in containers around the balcony but as for this beautiful white Cockatoo he has decided to make himself a home on my brother's balcony he always greets everyone as if it's his home saying "Welcome Larry" to everyone including to my brother.
My brother named him Larry so every time my brother sees him on the balcony he always says to the Cockatoo "Welcome Larry" so the Cockatoo and learned that and is always repeating it every time he sees anyone it's "Welcome Larry"...how clever.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at my birds and thank you @keithboone for giving us the opportunity to show off our birds.

Clever bird 😀
It is looked after very well, beautiful cockatoo.
I heard from my brother he is talking more now and getting funny cheeky ways :)
Wow, how awesome is that! Welcome Larry! I love it! Great photos! Looks like a fairly large bird - how tall would you say he is? Excellent contribution to Feathered Friday, thank you! Voted & Resteemed :-)
Thank you @keithboone i say he would be a good 15 to 18 inches tall that's almost a foot and a half tall he is taller and bigger then most Cockatoos i have seen.
Thanks for the upvote and resteem :)
That's a big bird! I'm always so amazed that they can learn to mimic speech - or do they understand? Nah, they can't understand, right?
They are amazing they must have been bread with some human genes some how :)
Beautiful photos! Those birds that talk astonish me! And it is so cool that he is not caged!
They are amazing the knowledge and ability they have to be able to talk just amazing and it's the way i like to see them free as a bird :)
Me too. It breaks my heart to see birds in cages. This would be the perfect way to have a 'pet' bird. I would feel so honored to have him choose me as a friend!
You are exactly right and it's the only way i would have a pet bird :)
They are super smart! Larry is a beauty
Thank you...It just amazes me how birds can talk :)
haha! Howdy sir hangin! everyone you know has great pets! lol. that's hilarious by the way, what the bird says!
Fortunately i do have a lot of pet lovers around me and that is a good thing...yeah...certainly helps me out with the @dailypetphotography contest each day.
The bird calls out "Welcome Larry" and "Good Morning" and "Feed Me"....lol
haha! Sir hangin that bird has all the basics down, especially if his owner is Larry! that's too funny. lol. they are so entertaining but demanding too.
My brother named the bird Larry so when he flys in and lands on my brothers balcony he says Welcome Larry..as to welcome himself...haha :)
haha! howdy sir hangin! The bird flies in and says welcome Larry! lol. that's too funny, thanks for sharing that sir hangin!
The intelligence and funniest of these birds is so cool :)
