All the fair weather birds have left, but many stay year round. The cardinals stay. So do the woodpeckers, bluejays, nuthatches and chickadees. A couple types of finches stay. The juncos come here from Canada. I guess they think this IS south! Several owls come down from further north. I keep the feeders full all year round.

I see. Thanks for the clarification. I am sure it is good to have them around for company in the cold winter months.
They do provide bright spots to our dreary winter days!
