Bird watching - Ducks, Cranes, and Geese

in #featheredfriends3 years ago (edited)

In my life time, I would never see that many birds until I discovered this birds Preserve. It was amazing me how many birds that I saw the first time. A group of groups white cranes from far away sky stopped in the Preserve. My daughter told me that they created a tornado in front of our eyes when so many groups of crane land on the ground one by one. The migration Canada geese also stopped by this area to get foods and drinks. These ponds always have a lot of ducks there. This area must preserve very well by the government attached millions of birds stop there each year.

I captured these five ducks performed water ballet. I think this picture is very unique, so I like to share it with the Feathered Friends here.

Love the sandhill cranes, I was just in the desert taking pictures of them.

How interesting! Most of the sandhill cranes here already migrated to the north. I love birds too because they are so free flying in the sky.

I caught the last of them in Wilcox AZ before they migrated back here to Illinois.

really impressive👍👍

Yay! 🤗
