That certainly looked like a flying squirrel to me late yesterday afternoon.
This post is about hungry little animals getting food on a cold and wet morning today.
The squirrel gang was at our back door grabbing nuts to eat.
Yet another rainy day awaits and the animals knew that.,
An Olive Thrush collected berries for his wife to make them a health smoothie.
And our little goslings had just had breakfast and were stepping out looking for that strange warm light (sun) that was nowhere to be found.
Their mom Sally sat above them on the low wall to keep an eye on things.
The Egyptian goose gosslings are now 6 days old and we still have all 12 of them. Sally left here last year with her 2 day old babies and within the week all the babies were gone, taken by predators. This time we keep them here and things are looking good at this stage.
We had another Jackal Buzzard coming over to scrutinize the babies, but I will do a seperate post about the incident.
So far, so good.
And That's All Friends!
