Yeah, it was an amazing experience. When we lived in a rural part of Yucatan, the flamingos sometimes flew right over our balcony :) And pelicans and cormorants too. Sweet memories...

I can picture the balkones with all those crazy birds flying over it and I imagine it so beautifull.

Oh yeah, we loved the balcony and spent a lot of time there, just sitting and enjoying the views of the surrounding jungle and the birds flying over our heads :) The only drawback was that sometimes, scorpions stopped by to say hi :D

Oh yeah, our house was literally surrounded by coconut palms :) We must have eaten tons of coconuts when living there haha :) One of the advantages of living in rural tropics.
I and even found one picture of the flamingos flying over our house...
