Hello everyone! π Hope you all are having a fantastic time!
For this week's #phonography contest, I will be sharing a few serene photographs of the sunset's afterglow that I had taken during my recent visit to the beach with one of my brothers, his wife and their friend.
Yeah, going alone is a little daunting for me as the place is mostly crowded and some individuals have bad motives. That's a reality that I'd like to be cautious of. Being by yourself isn't a good idea particularly if you're a female.
So I asked my sis-in-law and the rest to come with me. And they gleefully agreed.
We avoided the crowd so my sis-in-law decided to take us farther where we only saw two to three people around. So we almost have this part of the beach by ourselves. Awesome!
It wasn't breezy but the waves were tall and raging as the sun continued to sink which made me feeling perplexed. Is this a strange phenomenon? π€
So when I got back, I did ask my ever clever bff Mr. Google what causes waves in the sea. And I found out that there are numerous factors. The wind is the number one factor. Yay! We are correct! Also, the gravitational pull of the moon and sun also causes tides. Interesting factor, indeed. We know this too, that storm surges moving inland will cause big waves as well. And there are a few more factors...
It got darker and darker and waves getting bigger and bigger even my brother was screaming, haha. The four of us left the beach wet with saltish water from waist down and our feet and legs covered with sand as we walked back to our ride.
Precious moment spent in nature. So fun!
This is all for now. Thank you for the visit and support, everyone. Meanwhile, enjoy the rest of the days left of this year! π€π―π₯π«π’
π Thie is so beautiful! Looking at such views, it feel like sitting there and staring at it... :)
That's exactly what I did. Watched the sky first then played with the waves. ππππ€
Ahh playing with the waves is another fun thing to doπ
What beautiful sunset photographs you captured. They convey a lot of calm and peace. I would love to be there now. Best wishes and Happy New Year.
Thank you very much for your kind words. Indeed, a heartwarming sight this sunset is. All the best! π€π
