RE: Feminism & Motorcycles

I know I pose on my bike in a sexy way but my photos don't define who I am.

So then why are you posing like that ? Doesn't feel good to be watched, admired and wanted ? You would want men just look at you less than a second bored to death and commenting to themselves: "Yeah, she's nice. Maybe. I don't care. Just a woman." ? It's better like that ?

By the way, you don't like men "gravitating" around you, looking, wanting, etc. As long as they don't harass you, it should be just fine and you should take this as a appreciation.

Yeah, a woman is much more than a piece of meat. But when she's wearing yoga pants on the street, she's not. She's just inciting. She's using hers arms. She's playing. Our clothes mean something (especially for you).

If men didn't have the urge to approach women, trying to please them, "conquer" them and they would have been totally unimpressed, not interested the human species wouldn't existed these days.

The interest men are displaying towards women is extremely important to human race.

Yeah, maybe in a couple of decades you'll be pleased to see that men will not be so much interested in women. Thanks to the new culture of less testosterone, too much care for your own person, hipsters, etc.

Sort:

I posed that way on my bike because it was a photo-shoot. That's my bike and I wanted photos with it. Duh. Guys take hot photos and receive what hate for it? Little to none usually. When women show their bodies they are automatically slut shamed.

I would prefer men to be less sickening about how they "admire" women as you say. Whatever I wear or do does not permit or allow whatever a "man" decides to do about it. It's called respect and you treat others how you want to be treated. Not respect someone based on what they wear - it's pretty disgusting you're ok with women being treated as an object simply because of workout attire.

I am wearing a ton of clothes in this pics compared to most stereotypical biker babe photos and the amount of criticism over them is comical. It just shows that misogyny and gender bias is still an issue. Also, shows that some people have nothing better to do with their time except hate on someone and their passions in life. That's pretty sad.

@fishborne "Thanks to the new culture of less testosterone" tells us everything we need to know about you. Increasingly less and less of a place in the world for your not-so-subtle misogyny. Yoga pants in public isn't the problem, it's the inability for people like you to control your thoughts and actions. It never ceases to amaze me how intimidated people are by another person [particularly women] dressing, acting and doing what makes them feel good.

:))) intimidated by a woman ? Because she's wearing yoga pants ?

I'm afraid of a big guy with big muscles that is looking angry at me, not by a woman.

Maybe you wanted to say that I feel aroused.
Of course I feel aroused when I see something sexy. But I'm an normal adult anf I don't even think about harassing somebody. Even so, using outside of the gym pants designed specially for working out (that's why they are so flexible) is not ok.
But, of course is very common.

Complaining that men are pigs because they are aroused is a simple case of hypocrisy.

But it's ok. I don't want to take this discussion too far. You just labeled me using a sentence. With people behaving like that I really don't want to exchange anything. Of course, I'm here, on steemit for exchanging thoughts, opinions. I don't want anything else.

Complaining that men are pigs because they are aroused is a simple case of hypocrisy.

She didn't say men are pigs because they're aroused. She said they're perfectly entitled to their arousal. Believe it or not men don't have to act on their arousal and can choose not to harass somebody who has made it clear their advances are not welcome.

Really? :O
Good thing you told men that. They might not have known they "don't have to act on their arousal and can choose not to harass somebody".
Wow mind blowing new information given to the world, thanks @beanz

That he takes pride in being a man. It's misogynistic to like being male? How fucking sexist. Woman are the real misogynists, everyone that spends enough time around them eventually comes to terms with that.
