I Hope everyone doing well.
My home town the Sultan Kudarat provincial government is now hard working for planning the province's grandest annual celebration, the Kalimudan Festival this coming November 2022.
The Kalimudan Festival, held every November, commemorates the founding anniversary of the Sultan Kudarat Province. The week-long celebrations bring together the province's various tribes for thanksgiving and a colorful display of the diversity of their cultures.
Trade fairs, pageantry, talent showcase, sports and skills contest, celebrity shows and nightly concerts, street dancing parade, and many other activities are included.
This November, the Kalimudan Festival will be held under the theme "Layag Kudarateos: Sagwan Tungo sa mas Masaganang Probinsiya.

I've never heard of your hometown before. We also used the word "Sultan" in our Malay language, which means a ruler, especially in some Muslim countries such as Malaysia, where we still use Sultan for our king.
I guess, we must have a similarity in language because our country are so close to one another.
The Kalimudan Festival appears to be a fun fair, as we would called it here.
