I'll see if I can rattle off a top 5 for ya...I will say that I have family from Brasil and have been 4 times...I love it there. So to explore more of Brasil, specifically the southern region would be in the top 5.
We had planned to move to Uruguay years ago, specifically Punta del Diablo, a small surfing village on the NE coast. So although we didn't grab life by the horns and make that leap, I would still like to visit someday.
South America in general I would really like to see more of. Some people talk about back packing Europe and all that, which I would probably enjoy, I would personally rather see Argentina, and Chile for an extended time.
@hilarski speaks highly of Panama which if he says so I take him for his word. My brother has family in Puerto Rico so that is also on the list.
Tbh, I'd love to see it all, but that's not gonna happen. So I hope this list helps you figure out your next move :)

I’m also as surprised that I’m the only person with Taiwan at least in my top 3–guess it’s just me.
Ok, well hold the phone for a second. My wife was adopted from Korea, so as much as it is her trip to go see where she came from, I am more than thrilled to get to go along for the ride. Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Bangkok, a few more I am probably missing...so not technically in my top 3, I do have ample reason for it to be.
