I wonder how many times Wriathvine has found neglectful parents who toss their children aside due to the child being a halfling, or being tiefling, or the parents just "not wanting to deal with the responsibility, or the child being "the wrong gender", or "not perfect enough", etc., and taught them a, ahem. "painful" lesson in proper childcare?
And I wonder how many wraithvine has found where they were simply too sick, or too poor, to care for the child and the child wandered off seeking help?
If one gold is a hundred coppers, then ze's found more than quite a few of them.
The parents who were incapable got help. The ones who couldn't be bothered got a short, sharp shock.
