Moments after the heist was complete, Clarabelle, Bob and their newest friend Becca, touch down softly in the barn.
"I have to admit Clarabelle; a man can get used to those telekinetic powers of yours. You are my bovine remote control! Who needs a garage door opener with you around!" Bob laughs, as he marvels at Clarabelle's ability to open the large double doors of the barn with her mind. Bob unbuckles himself free and climbs down from Clarabelle's back.
"I am a multi-purpose cow, just not anyone's dinner, anything but that," said Clarabelle with a wink, turning her attention to the young cow Becca.
Becca had shuddered with horror when she learned the dark truth of her purpose on the Svashta farm. She and all the other cows were destined for a date with death at the slaughterhouse. Becca stewed with anger at John Svashta's betrayal; she had no comprehension how someone so kind and loving to all the cows, could have such evil intentions.
"We have to go back!", said Becca in her childlike voice. "We have to save the others; we cannot let this happen. My life matters, all bovine lives matter!" cries, Becca.
Clarabelle comforts Becca until she calms down and stops crying, promising Becca that she and Bob would protect her, and would move mountains if they could to save the others from their imminent threat. Becca relaxes and takes in her new digs at the Braveheart Animal Rescue; warm, clean and spacious. Perfect. Just perfect.
Then, something strange happened. Clarabelle observes Bob removing his helmet, and stepping out of his rather ridiculous "flying costume", somehow something was different. Bob was moving more quickly and effortless than before. Clarabelle gasps when she sees Bob remove his helmet, to her amazement Bob's hair was no longer grey or short, he had long flowing dark hair. Even more astounding, Bob was no longer old. He now had the physique of a twenty-five-year-old athlete and not an arthritic bone in his body.
"Ugh, Bob," says Clarabelle. "You might want to take a look in the mirror."
"What is it? What's wrong? I feel great," said Bob, confused.
The blood drains from Bob's face as he sees the face of a young Adonis, with long hair, staring back at him in the mirror, his body no longer hunched over, but tall and straight. Bob pinches himself.
"Clarabelle? Did you do this to me? What the, I don't get it? How can this possibly be true?", said Bob confused, but apparently quite happy with this new turn of events. "I can't remember the last time I didn't have pain, what a miracle! Holy cow Clarabelle! You are some cow!"
"I didn't do anything, at least I don't think I did", said Clarabelle in her usual bright tone. "Good things can happen to good people, and you are one of the good one's Bob."
All three were feeling exhilarated, and jubilant from the courageous rescue of the evening, so Bob decides they should celebrate. He makes several trips to the main house and comes back to the barn with a TV, a lazy-boy chair, blankets, and a buffet of vegan snacks for them all to enjoy. The three settle together with treats and warm blankets watching the movie "Chicken Run." Bob loved this movie just as much as his grandkids did. Clarabelle and Becca thought the flick was terrific and inspiring, so they watched it again, and again, and again!
They stayed up until the wee hours of the morning watching the movie and enjoying each other's company. Tonight they play, tomorrow they will step up their action plan to save more cows from John Svashta's farm.
The following day, Bob discovers that is clothes no longer fit, so he takes a trip to town to get some new stuff. Friends that he knew all of his life didn't recognise him, and to his amusement; he seemed to be attracting a lot of attention from the town's females. The gals at the department store had him looking pretty sharp once they finished with him. Bob's long flowing hair now gathered in a long braid down his back; he was a very handsome, well dressed young man.
Bob felt like a new man when he returned to Clarabelle and Becca in the barn; he was surprised to find them both glued to the TV. "Who knew cows would like TV?", Bob thought to himself. He stood there for a full five minutes before the cows noticed him.
Both ladies liked Bob's new get-up and whistled their approval to his total embarrassment.
"Enough ladies," said Bob, "we have some cows to save."
Clarabelle had already spent some time with Becca, teaching her the fine art of flying, but Becca wasn't quite ready for the mission. Bob and Clarabelle will fly alone tonight.
Bob prepares Clarabelle for flight, attaching her specialised saddle and headlamp. Bob, now a physically fit young man, no longer feels the need for the oxygen tank or the scuba suit, but in the interest of safety and to keep the wind out of his eyes chooses to wear his white motorcycle helmet. In bright red letters, he had painted the phrase "Bovine Lives Matter", Becca's idea.
They waited until after 10:00 pm, John's bedtime, to take flight. Bob climbs aboard Clarabelle, they both giggle as Clarabelle telekinetically opens and then closes the barn doors, as they fly into the moonlit sky toward the Svashta farm.
Clarabelle feels the anger welling up in her again once she spots John's red sports car, all shiny and clean sitting there near the barn. "Blood red, perfect for a slaughterhouse car," thinks Clarabelle to herself, as she swoops down and hovers above the hood of the car.
"Clarabelle, no, don't do it," says Bob. "Just let it go."
Clarabelle ignores Bob and poops out an elaborate message on the roof and hood of the car, spinning around wildly to form the words "bad man". Motion sick, Bob adds his contribution, a little vomit on the rearview mirror.
"Clarabelle, stop, you're making me sick, I can't handle you spinning like that!" said, Bob.
Clarabelle glances back to see Bob's greenish pallor, "Sorry Bob, I couldn't resist." They head into the barn, to find all of the cows eagerly awaiting their arrival. Unbeknownst to Clarabelle, the Svashta cows had organised themselves. Doris advised Clarabelle that the oldest cows must be rescued first since they are most likely to be next for slaughter.
Bob and Clarabelle, made three trips to the Svashta farm that night, completely undetected. Doris, Saffron and Betsy were now safe at the Braveheart farm. The group celebrates the successful operation, with another viewing of "Chicken Run" and a whole lot of popcorn.
As promised begin to read the Slaughterhouse in full, already on this chapter 6 and ' Bob was no longer old. He now had the physique of a twenty-five-year-old athlete and not an arthritic bone in his body'... made me smile. Pixar, Pixar where are you? It can truly be a Pixar film, definitely... Merry Christmas to you...<3
Thank you!

Awwww, I was hoping you'd speak some more about John Svashta himself, as in his reaction when he learned one cow went missing... Splendid continuation nevertheless! The miracles just don't stop with Clarabelle around, do they?
I guess we kind of divided into two story tellers of the same story;
I tell a story from John's perspective, and you from Clarabelle's/Bob's...
It's a deal, then :P Part 7 will follow suit and will be told in John Svashta's perspective ^.^
Excellent, exactly what I was thinking! John is waking up to a "power poop" message on his car, his cows are acting strangely because they know the truth and have organized, also these cows possibly may have picked up some magic from Clarabelle making them a little more difficult to handle. Who are you going to blame for the 4 missing cows? John seems like a reasonable guy who doesn't believe in magic and will look for ways to explain away all the weirdness coming his way with more logical explanations.
Hey, who knows, maybe we will have a whole book once we are done!
The story drew a very strange image in my head :D
I love your story btw :) about to read the previous parts now
Thank you!
thanks for share part 6 we need part 7
