this was very well written and gripping. only critique would be that you switched to first person in the beginning, but only for a sentence or two. I hope that the more people realize this is a horrible thing to do, the more change will come around. Traditions and long-held conservative values are hard to break, but in the day and age of the internet, education is key. Thank you for sharing.
