Hey my brother!
After a seriously busy time at the moment, I've had time to catch up on this awesome book! Man, after reading this chapter, even I felt trapped! Perfect pacing and attention to the little details (like his fear from being held prisoner by the giants and "feeding time"). All expertly told to such a degree that you almost sympathise with the little guy, lol!
Very well done, my bro! Dealing with a perspective not many of us ever really sit and contemplate about. Highly original concept and intelligently produced. I'm intrigued to see where you go from here. Brilliant stuff!
Now, on to the next part! :)
What goes on, my brother?! :D I hope you are doing well, and I just know that you're kicking life's ass, as we speak. Part 2 of the next chapter is currently being posted, so that you won't wait long for it. Read it at your leisure though, it's a bit lengthy, but I broke it down into two parts, just like you suggested. Expect a shoutout in the coming Silver Lining installment.
Thank you for the encouraging praise, my brother! I missed it almost as much as I miss Druck, Dee and the gang. I've recently discovered that the reception to the story is a bit divided, but I'm using the negative feedback as fuel to improve. When I set out to do this, I wanted to create something akin to Flowers for Algernon, so I half-expected that many people won't initially get it without context. You hit it right in the nail when you mentioned that I'm indeed dealing with a wholly different perspective.
I thank you for your continued support my brother. It really means the world!
