A special thanks to my good friend @blockurator for inventing this thing called Exquisite Corpse.
Actually, he didn't invent it. He stole it. From Andre Breton, Marcel Duchamp, et. al. And, of course, the best writers are thieves. And Block, as @quillfire likes to call him, is the best.
He's also me.

Besides being a royal jack ass, Ol' Block is a swell and handsome fellow with a big giant heart, and that's why he handed over the exquisite corpse writing exercise to us garden gnomes. Yep, that's right, we'll be managing the menagerie of superlative carcasses this year.
Unlike the original exquisite corpse exercises wherein writers were handed a piece of paper with the last line of a larger story and were asked to write the rest of the story based solely on that last line, the Steemit elegant cadaver involves each writer participant creating a story together by writing a piece of it in succession. Keep reading for this year's rules.
Here Be Da Rules
The first person who comments on this post and says "I'm in" will write the initial leg of the story. Here are the rest of the rules:
- The first writer will introduce the main characters, the setting, and the situation in 1,500 words or less.
- Each writer will give a short introduction to the writing exercise for their readers.
- Each leg of the story will be 1,000 words or less. No novels!
- Each writer will tag their post #exquisite-corpse.
- Each writer will tag each of the other participants and let readers know who follows them.
- Each writer will use the Speculative Fiction Writers of Steemit footer image (found below). If you know how to link images, please do so by right clicking the image and copying the URL to our Discord server. Also, please us the attribution line for the artist.
- Each writer will have exactly 7 days to write and publish their part of the story. If something delays you for some reason, please contact @blockurator on Discord and let him know. Otherwise, late posters will not be allowed to play in the next event.
- The writing sequence will be established in a post published by this account next Sunday or Monday.
The garden gnomes reserve the right to change, add to, supplement, or take away from these rules at any time without notice. And we promise not to give you a wedgie.
If you're in, comment below please.

So are the garden gnomes. :-D
so it is kind of like create a OVA video for a anime series?
OVA video is like a stand-alone video of what happened after the series .
I don't know anything about that, @hooiyewlim. All you have to do is write the next leg of a story after the person before you, then pass it on to the person after you.
