Healing spells also known as holy spells can be sorted into 3 tiers: low, moderate, High. The higher the tier the more complex the Magic will be, therefore consuming more Mana. For example if some individual was heavily poisoned and on the verge of death, a high tier healing is needed. The healing spell herstel although low tier can alleviate the symptoms and eventually cure the poison. But that will take days to weeks to fully cure.
With that information and on a completely different tangent; Necromancy magic by all technicalities is considered a high tier healing spell on a very late patient. -- Anon Guest

[AN: Had to change the name of the spell because I'm not allowed to mess with anyone else's IP and expect income for it]

One does not have to be hallowed to be a healer. It helps to have a god on your side, but it's not strictly necessary. Some have the knack for it in their body and spirit. In those cases, it's necessary to be a very good impersonation of a holy person. Patient, understanding, empathetic, and sympathetic.

All that said, there is only so much horseshit up with which anyone would put.

"It's the truth They don't want you to know," said the patient, Goodie Kari. "The right miasma can guard against enemy miasmas, and that protects us from the bad humors."

Lalaren took a deep breath, and instantly regretted it. Kari kept her house full of 'good miasmas' and thus stank of strong herbs and burning onion skins. Kari extracted oils from various things that should have been food and applied them instead of any other medicine.

It was a miracle her children lived long enough to seek work outside of that house.

There was no way to tell her that her humors and miasmas were horseshit. Kari believed in them with a faith that might rival the most devout archbishop of any given god. She would never accept that she'd been believing lies for most of her life.

In order to save her, the children still in the house, and her current spouse, Lalaren had to employ a higher level of horseshit. Perhaps one with a slight backing of fact[1].

"I see," said Lalaren. "There's a reason They suppressed that knowledge. I thought everyone knew."

Kari's need for gossip activated and she became all ears. "Oh, no, I did not. Tell me everything."

"Well, the miasmas do fight eachother, but they create an invisible war that disturbs the household Brauniin and Nisse. The little helpful people. There was a near-global decision to cease fighting miasmas in order to keep the little helpers about, and keep them healthy. You know how the little kind ones get sick in atmospheres of discord."

Hook. Line. Sinker. Even fishing boat, net, and creel. Perhaps even the fisher and their hat. Swallowed whole.

"Oh my goodness, the poor little Nisse! I have to turn things around at once," Kari leaped up, suddenly noticing the dung and mud on the floor, the fungal growths sprouting from her walls, and how horribly stinky her entire house was. "Where do I even start?"

"Let's open up the windows and air the house out," Lalaren began. "Then we can start chasing all the mud out to the garden, where it will do better work." That was enough of a start. When it was finally safe to leave her babies crawling or toddling around on the floor, her back pain and exhaustion would evaporate.

Her little ones would cease being sick all the time, almost like a miracle occurred. Things would be even better once they evicted the fungii and treated the walls with hard lime.

If Kari wanted to credit the little kind folk for all of that, then she was welcome. Hells, Lalaren would help her make offerings of honey and milk in a goldish cup if she wanted to.
