"It started with a kiss," Mary replies. The Doctor always started their therapy session by asking her to describe her most recent complete day.
"Oh, I did not know you were seeing anyone," the Doctor muses, raising her eyebrows inquisitively. "How long.." Mary interrupts her quickly, hoping the agitation of being cut off so soon is evident. "No, I am not seeing anyone."
"My day started with a kiss, soft and warm. Then a gentle whisper, just loud enough to wake a sleeping volcano. Hehe," Mary chuckles at her analogy and pauses a second staring at a lonesome pigeon flying past. She tended to stare out the psychiatrist's office window while talking, it helped focus her even though to some it might seem she is meandering.
The Doctor did not seem to mind, "What is her name again..." Mary thought to her self in the split second before continuing her recounting. She glanced over at the Doctor and imperceptibly shrugged, discounting that the name mattered.
Turning back to the window, she folded her arms over the couches armrest and lay her head down, as she stared off into the blue.
"'Time to wake up my beautiful girl.' His whisper called out to me, I opened my eyes and for a moment I was not sure whether I was really awake. I only knew that I was right where I was supposed to be." Mary says, then pulls her legs up on the couch as she pushes further into the armrest, now fully committed to not giving the Doctor a reason to interrupt her.
Apart from brief pauses which lingered so gently anyone would be just plain rude to interject, Mary continued recounting her day. Some moments in minute detail and others more abstract. A vivid tapestry few people ever experience other than if you were to ask a child to recount their favorite story.
"He eventually got up to go make me some tea, I did not even want him to leave for those few moments. The tea was really nice though, the perfect balance of honey and lemon." Mary says, then looks over at the Doctor and repeats: "Lemon and honey, no milk." as though she was prescribing her medicine.
Completely comfortable leaning on the armrest now and tilting her head a bit more and raising her fingers to point at nothing in particular since she is using her arms as a pillow. "We had the best time working together but apart." Mary kept telling the room, "He worked on his things and I did mine, you would think that is not very productive. It just flowed so well, like an energy exchange from one to the other. Each reinvigorating the others drive."
Doo Da Doo , Doo Dee Da... "Sorry!" the Doctor jumped up from her couch and went over to grab her handbag from the desk. Rumaging in it she pulls out her phone and answers.
"She answered," Mary thinks to herself, not minding the ringing phone but now she sits up and furrows her brow. "She answered. So rude."
Turning to Mary and not silencing the phone mic, "I am really sorry, this is truly an emergency. Do you mind if we reschedule, and this session won't be billed. Really sorry but I need to deal with this right now. " The Doctor quickly rambles as she crosses the office floor as she keeps lifting the phone to indicate the source of the dilemma. Opening the door for mary she quickly presses the phone to her ear and just nods before closing the door.

"It started with a kiss," Peter replies. The Doctor always started their therapy session by asking him to describe his most recent complete day.
"Oh, I did not know you were seeing anyone," the Doctor muses, raising her eyebrows inquisitively. "How long.." Peter interrupts her quickly, hoping the agitation of being cut off so soon is evident. "No, I am not seeing anyone. This was a dream."
Peter never really described his complete day, he would say whatever came to mind. The Doctor lets him get away with it. He suspects it is because if she allows him to talk randomly he overshares.
"I kissed her as gently as I could on the forehead. She does not like rude awakenings but I could not resist. She was so beautiful. I just had to wake her up, it is the only way I could think of having her even nearer to me." Peter chuckles as he considers that explanation. Fortunately, the Doctor is used to him twisting ideas and trying to simplify them yet making them infinitely more complex.
"Staring at her sleeping beauty, I had to call out to her. I whispered and hoped it would roar like a volcano eruption. Then. She opened her eyes and I knew I was right where I should be." Peter says and slouches deeper into the oversized brown couch.
He looked up at the Doctor looking for something, and she just nodded. Peter decided that was the something and continued telling her the dream. "We spent the whole day together, it all just felt perfect. I worked on my things, you know. Clicking buttons and scrolling the internet. She worked on her things and we just felt in sync."
Peter stopped talking. He sat up straight and looked out the office window at the deep blue. "I think I won't be seeing you again," Peter says as he gets up and starts to walk toward the office door.
The Doctor did not get up and merely turned to Peter and asked: "Why not Peter?"
"Because I think I am ok, and I should find my dream girl." Without waiting for a reply, Peter left the office then paused in the lobby. He turned back to the door as the Doctor has gotten up to close it. He could have sworn there was something there. He definitely felt it. It felt good, like he felt in his dream. A few moment later Peter left the building.

Silently standing outside the door Mary heard the Doctor talk on the phone. "No, it is ok. I am glad you called, this session was driving me nuts." She heard the Doctor say.
A little upset but not hurt, Mary smiled and thought. "Well Doctor you were bamboozled. Because that was a dream."
Leaving the building Mary felt a strange certainty that she won't be seeing the place again. She felt happy, somehow she knew that He would find her.
